Intent
This zine, an enigmatic system of symbols: found occurrences and form study, came to life during an in-depth risograph class taught by Panayiotis Terzis at the School of Visual Arts.
It is essentially a type specimen for a mysterious alien typeface. Specific riso techniques help the characters stand out as they are showcased in a variety of contexts.
The typeface itself was designed from scratch, both as its own object of interest and as an excuse to justify designing a type specimen.
